This Privacy Policy describes how IDSPHERE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED ("Company", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information in the Smart Note Taker mobile app.
This policy applies to the Smart Note Taker Android application and related support channels operated by IDSPHERE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED. For the purposes of the EU/UK GDPR and similar laws, the data controller is the Company listed in the Contact section.
If you enable cloud backup/sync (e.g., Google Drive or your chosen provider), your notes may be transmitted and stored with that provider under their terms. You can disable sync at any time from settings.
Sensitive categories (e.g., health, biometric, or financial account numbers) are not intentionally collected. Please avoid entering such data into free‑form notes.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy (Sections 3–5) or as required by law. Notes stored on your device remain until you delete them or uninstall the App. If you enable backups/sync, retention is also governed by your cloud provider settings.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, principle of least privilege, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you can help by using device lock and keeping your OS up to date.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

We may process and store information in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms to protect your information.
The App may request the following optional permissions to power features; you can manage these in Android Settings → Apps → Smart Note Taker → Permissions:

We aim to minimize third‑party processing. Where used, partners process limited data to provide core functionality:

Our disclosures in the Google Play Data safety section reflect the current behavior of the App, including categories of data collected/processed, purposes (e.g., app functionality, analytics, and crash diagnostics), and whether data is linked to you or used for tracking (we do not use for tracking).
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. We will revise the Last updated date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App.
